My comments load from old to new. So when I open a thread, i scroll to the bottom. I usually can guess the poster from the items, can you? We all have distinct styles for sure!

This from AI…

Yes, robotic window cleaners work well for routine maintenance, light dust, and fingerprints on large, flat glass, but they have distinct limits. High-end models like the Ecovacs Winbot use strong suction and smart navigation to safely clean high-rise or hard-to-reach exterior windows without ladders. However, they struggle with heavy grime, caked-on dirt, tight corners, and window frames.

Benefits and Pros

  • Safety: Keeps you off dangerous ladders when cleaning upper-level or high-rise exterior glass.
  • Ease for Large Panes: Great for big sliding doors, large windows, and large mirrors.
  • Hands-off Routine Care: Excellent for regular upkeep so dirt does not build up. YouTube·Tech It Before You Wreck It +1

Limitations and Cons

  • Not for Deep Cleaning: Caked-on mud, heavy bird droppings, or old mineral/hard water stains need manual scrubbing.
  • Edges and Corners: Most units cannot reach 100% of the extreme edges or sharp corners, leaving tiny spots to wipe by hand.
  • Not Fully Automatic: You must manually place the robot on a window, plug it in, attach safety tethers, change the pads, and move it to the next pane.

Peach galeete sounds great. Send some good vanilla ice cream to go with it.

My bed 15 years ago. I still have the quilt but gave away the head and foot boards.

I got the quilt at the Waynesville Sauerkraut festival. It was just the colors I was looking for.

Ending with a preposition made me think of this greeting card. The inside reads, “Where’s your birthday party at, bi#*h?

One of the things I love about this site is nearly everyone tries. The spelling and grammar here are vastly superior to the ick that is Facebook. I occasionally peruse Facebook Marketplace, and it makes me want to hit people with a dictionary.

Reading the comments on public posts leads me to think we are probably doomed.

52 boxes of bandaids DH is collecting

We also need a bandaid nonproliferation treaty at our house. Also DH. Like we will bleed out if we don't that little 1/2' sticky strip.

Wow, Jilly, a new Porsche. Nice. Looking forward to the pictures.

Pal, i congratulate you on sending your items off to new homes. I decided to take a silverplated tray to the thrift shop but made the mistake of googling its value first. It belonged to my great aunt and is well over 100 years old. Well, it could be worth $150, or maybe $50 depending on a few things. I should have just donated it and let some thrifter think they hit the jackpot. Now it will take up space until i figure out what to do with it,

I also hesitated to donate a fondue pot that hadnt been used in 30+ years. Round two of the thrift shop donations is coming up and that will go this time.

Ugh. Why do we accumulate so much? In the world of bandaids, i recently added another box, this time extra large after a trip to the derm for a skin cancer removal. I bought it on the way home then realized there were bandaids I could use in the ten boxes I already own.

I miss bandaids that had that red thread running down the side for easy opening.
