Open living area extending out into central area and facing wall to be created between existing posts (near kitchen porch door). TV on wall, shelves on either side, painted pine paneling between post OR another surface to create a focal point and texture; shallow cabinet or table or storage or upholstered bench under TV. Also like smaller area with furniture along west (pond) wall - 2 chairs with table, light considering cordless lamps in central area instead of in-floor outlets. Window seat somewhere? Add central light fixture in metal ceiling to complement recessed lighting.

Modern kitchen cabinets are overcome by the old vibe of the floor and ceiling....which keep it shoulder-lowering.
