With wood doors, a range cooker and brick wall, this kitchen incorporates characteristics you would more commonly find in a classic kitchen but modern doors and stainless steel appliances keep the room feeling fresh and modern.

John and Nicole chose a dark and light theme. Ultra-modern, dark wood effect doors for the base units provide a striking contrast to the white doors on the larder units. The pale worktop, provides a clean, fresh finish. Instead of opting for the standard matching splashback they chose to tile the whole wall in a brick style. Not only is this practical but is also looks stunning.

No industrial style kitchen is complete without a breakfast bar. John and Nicole chose to incorporate a peninsula with metal stools to create an eating area in the kitchen itself. Stainless steel appliances, look right at home in the industrial kitchen theme. There is a beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary appliances, from the range cooker to the American Style fridge freezer and wine cooler. The tap is an unusual waterfall design. This provides an interesting feature and along with all the other quirky stainless steel accessories pulls together the industrial style theme perfectly.

Design Tip
‘John and Nicole wanted a kitchen that had industrial and urban influences. Our designer chose to feature brick-style tiles for the back wall which provide a rustic feel to the kitchen. The added dark wood effect doors contrast well with the white high gloss doors, adding the necessary modern element.’
