The brief was to cost-effectively furnish this studio apartment for short term rental use in central York. The interior finish needed to match the high standard of the fit out and build of the apartment and we felt there was a need for quality, statement pieces to make the apartment stand out in a busy rental market.

We injected warmth, pattern and colour to ensure the apartment felt comfortable and appealing. The compact nature of the apartment needed to be reflected in the scale of furniture used.

A limited colour palette ensured the space felt restful. Interesting textures and simple patterns add interest without creating a fussy / cluttered aesthetic.
