Douglas were requested to supply and install retractable awnings on two houses within a new subdivision boutique village complex. The awnings were to be fitted over patio/decks that were essentially a mirror image in arrangement located opposite and in site of each other.

We chose Llaza Maxibox 300 Cassette Retractable Awnings by Reid & Twiname skinned with Acrylic Canvas in colours Planosol Lumera Vulcano and Planosol Pewter by Contender with SIMU Motors and Motion Sensors by Rainbow Shade NZ.

A particular challenge to overcome was the design and installation of special roof truss brackets for mounting to a building with very narrow eaves.

The customers were very pleased with the final result.
