This project is an extension to an existing family home. This 1970’s home was in a sad state of disrepair. The location of this property in rural Helensville is what drew our clients’ attention.

Graham Walls from Park West Design has been able to create great spaces for all family members, including the owners two dogs. We worked closely with the interior designer Kate Pilot to create a traditional farm style home with a touch of modern elegance to bring it back into the 21st century.

The extension includes digging out underneath the house to make way for two bedrooms and a lounge. At ground level there was the construction/extension of a three-car garage, a pool to the rear of the property and a large deck that will surround it. The deck will offer stunning views of serene countryside.
