Our clients for this project loved their Emery Roth-designed Art Deco apartment, but found the 1920s layout slightly antiquated. Our task was to reimagine the apartment with a lighter, more open design while preserving as much of the original character as possible. The scope of the project included the restoration of several key architectural features, the enlargement and redesign of the kitchen, the gut-renovation of all three bathrooms, the relocation of critical service elements, and new custom millwork, doors and surface treatments.
