Located near Oneroa Beach, Waiheke Island, this home is positioned on a very steep site, facing north with views towards Hekerua Bay and beyond, with access from the southern located driveway. This new build was designed to fulfil the clients’ specific requirements and to maximise the coastal views using a limited budget. The brief was to create a stylish contemporary home incorporating the living areas and master bedroom on one level with two other separate bedrooms and bathroom on the lower level that could be used as guest accommodation or family rooms. Multiple flexible outdoor spaces were required. The clients expressly desired a view from the front entry through the house down to Hekerua Bay.
