A comprehensive renovation of a character villa, carefully balancing heritage charm with contemporary family living. The project included a bespoke kitchen, bathrooms and living spaces, with every detail thoughtfully designed to improve functionality while respecting the home's original character.This bathroom renovation demonstrates how thoughtful planning can transform even the most challenging spaces. Working within the constraints of a long, narrow room in a 1900s villa, the design created a spacious bathroom complete with a separate shower, freestanding bath and generous storage without compromising the home's original character.

By carefully reconfiguring the adjoining bedroom, additional space was gained to create a recessed bath while still retaining functional wardrobes in the bedroom. An antique washstand was repurposed as a vanity, complemented by classic wall panelling, timeless white tiling and striking New Zealand-inspired wallpaper, creating a bathroom that feels both elegant and full of personality.

Every element was chosen to balance heritage charm with modern comfort, resulting in a practical family bathroom that celebrates the character of the home while meeting the needs of contemporary living.
