Step Inside a Fresh Contemporary Home Full of Little Surprises

After finding designer Robin Bryant of Factor Design Build on Houzz, these homeowners asked her to create soft contemporary interiors that juxtapose the more traditional red-brick exterior of their Denver home. Bryant responded with organic modern materials like white oak cabinets, concrete-look countertops and a jaw-dropping focal point island with large slabs of Blue Marine quartzite. She also gave the home a few special moments of discovery. Hexagonal tiles inset in the wood flooring form a directional path from the front entry into a powder room and up the wall. And hidden doors in the primary bedroom open to reveal a private home office sanctuary.

This is a dream home for me and will save this to refer and maybe someday be able use this designer. I love the overall colors…soft soothing but distinct. I love seeing the geometric shapes that also feel organic. Congratulations to this designer, the company, and all involved! Heavenly!

This look is exactly the feel I’m looking for in my home. Being retired I’m completely over my former traditional look. This “soft contemporary” is the way I’m feeling at this stage of my life! We are in Golden CO and would love to meet this
Designer.

I have been looking at a lot of kitchens on Houzz and finally I see one that is a breath of fresh air! So soft and organic, lots of details, yet not overwhelming. Stunning!!! Love so much about it, but the kitchen and the office are my favorites!

I love this soft contemporary. Some modern is too harsh. This is lovely, soft, and airy. And no gray. So tired of gray.

Stupendous! This is my dream house style, light wood, organic, modern. It's all so soothing and beautiful. And what a great idea for the circular receptacles on the kitchen counter wall.

Very creative work, the idea using routed leds in the kitchen shelves could have been done in the bathroom, marquarty in the floors reminds me of the old time craftsmanship, excellent work..

Yes, we also used the same 2’ x 4’ tile in our master bathroom. It’s beautiful & only has a handful of grout lines to clean! Life is good.
