Waikuku Woodland Garden
This is the back area of the garden, much of it recently reclaimed from the paddock beyond with the simple relocation of the fence to include the maturing Oak in the garden. The simple garden seat which sits beneath the tree has been painted a vivid lime green to exactly match the colour of the new spring growth. Tussock grasses provide a link to the open padocks beyond the fence. The stumps of removed trees have been kept to provide sculptural interest - topped with selected rocks from the local riverbed.
