we use ours for insulation of vintage windows that we didn't want to upgrade to DG and only have the standard pull up blinds but the difference in comfort is noticeable in cold and hot weather...love the look of the blinds that insulate without blocking light and i often forget to open them as they don't make the room dark when left closed during daylight and the top down blinds sound ideal for privacy
