Comments (3)Hi Ju, I looked at your idea pics and they are all very light and neutral. This room doesn't seem like it is really you. If I am on the right track, I would recommend a colorful area rug, a light colored cover for the sofa bed and a colorful throw over the back. A row of framed prints or photos (18" square or close to that size - not too small) on that wall would give more life to the room as well. Two white filing cabinets could flank your desk along with a sleek white leather/chrome chair. Need to brighten it up!...See Moreneed ideas on to improve my massage room interior accesorise

Comments (4)I would move the two chairs against the wall with the table between for a "side" seating area... which can still see the t.v. (needs some baskets or something under that table... a trunk maybe...to bulk it up). Then make an L shape with the other couch/loveseat that you have. You also have great storage along the tv wall but it's kind of bland... punch it up with a color along the back of the bookcases or a funky wallpaper. Drapes for a punch of color with some other accessories and you'll have a gorgeous room. It also looks like you have an ottoman.... put a tray on top and use it as a coffe table for a while....See MoreHelp! Needing ideas for awkward corner in kitchen
Comments (3)Hi Helen. I thought I might share photos of my kitchen- which happens to be on a farm- as the layout is very similar to yours. We planned to do white subway tiles (and still might as we are just doing the bathrooms with the tiles and will see what we have left...) but used clear coated cement board as a temporary measure and find it quite serviceable as we haven't finished the kitchen. We did the open shelves first and then added bits and pieces of shelving afterwards. These are white washed Douglas Fir. The shelves just below the temporary ply bench top (going to do polished concrete benchtops later) are lined with galvanised tin. The lazy Susan in the corner cupboards are really handy! Hope these photos might be of interest. It's a very serviceable kitchen work in progress!...See More- 3 years ago
