We literally just renovated our kitchen ourselves but now we are tossing up with the idea of moving it to the back of the house.
Currrently working through some renovating options and what to ensure we make it appealing for buyers.
Adding Bedroom 3 and 4. And adding ensuite to master

Keen to hear, what others think

kitchen back room and add front section into master with ensuite/ walk in robe and sitting area. It would be huge.
leave kitchen at front. There is a park across the road. Master bedroom stays in the middle and we use the room to the left of it for a ensuite. Still add bedroom 3 and 4
current layout of house. Nothing the laundry will end up being a hallway and laundry hidden behind doors

Can you post the existing floor plan with dimension. In the voting I only see a small image. Do you like the current kitchen. Do things for you. Where do you want the kitchen? I assume you plan to keep the house for several years after you renovate.

This might help to show dimensions. I’ll draw up the options above tomorrow properly and re-post them.
We do like the current kitchen now that its been updated. However, do find myself going back and forth from the back sitting room when entertaining. Yes plan to keep house for 7+ years

Not yet. We actually have JUST engaged an architect to draw up an older school house we are hoping to purchase and use as an addition onto the left hand side of the house. Obviously if that purchase goes through, we will hire the architect to work on both the connection of the new building to the house as well as the front entryway. Here is the floor plan of the house. The small bedroom (bedroom 4) sits directly behind the lounge. We are also thinking about removing part of the wall there so that you would walk into the home and see directly into the lounge or turn slightly right and enter the kitchen.

i think that a mini-subway tile in a carrera marble and gray colored grout could be stunning in here. subway shaped tiles are both modern and classic and will never go out of style...your options are really limitless. this space appears to be open to another, if you add color to the kitchen, be sure that it makes sense with the adjacent room. this space is going to be great!! already gorgeous! keep us posted!

How do I improve my front yard?

make a path to back yard using maybe crushed gravel. Then place a unique used window or door where you want it to connect to a fence or don't build a fence at all & mount the window or door as stand-alone divider from front & back yard.

your plan doesn't show the "back sitting room" is that the room behind the kitchen and carport or is there old extension facing the backyard??

Need full plans and site plan and north direction which I see in to the front of the home. Any views, features, etc that will change things too? what are you trying to gain from renovations? Is it family home for young kiddies now? Love to assist with this for you! Margot
