We do not need a large seating area, and I like the idea of everything being hidden away. This is attractive enough without having to add a hiding wall on the other side.

I like the idea of making closets where we could hide all the coats, and still have a place for the shoes and hats. We could tie this into the color scheme of the kitchen.
