You can work with an open plan office area by making a feature of the one element that requires visual and acoustic privacy - the boardroom pod.
This heritage screen and tiles were existing in the space! We simply added a coat stand from Stylecraft and some very simple plywood cabinetry.
You don't need to upgrade every surface; use your budget to simply clean the existing fabric and complement it with new joinery and planting.
