Calm, light, classic. I like this. The pattern on the floor is fun - perhaps a bit tile behind the counter would be nice

Note to self - add a couple paper sorting folders to the back of a pantry drawer

Thought that you could have a table in stone
Q

counter height but waterfall so it looks less like a table
Q

pullout cutting board would give the ability to have some doors/drawers plus an accessible work area
Q

similar floor and wood cabinet colour; they have gone with white accent cabinets
Q

Here is wood with dark, but too much dark
Q

One of the few I've seen with three - would never have thought to put white, dark walnut and light wood together

Another dark lower light uppper

Dark lowers, light uppers

Floating buffet interesting

So the wood cabinets are too busy but an example of light uppers with wood
Q
Photo
Crisp, bright, clean. I realize the cabinetry is white but I like the overall feel here
Q
Photo
Fairly dark cabinetry and floors but still a very light bright feeling space. I would never have put this floor and cabinets together but it works.
Q
Photo
I like that these cabinets do not have a much grain going on. Not too busy
Q

Extra overhang on a short end for additional seating. However I wouldn't want overhang on both of the long sides, harder to work
Q
Photo
I like the island overhang here - space for Steve to wheel under, can also tuck stools under, and cupboard space too
Q
Photo
Too much open shelving here - I like it as a smaller design element, but not to this extent (and not with this rather industrial look with the brackets)
Q
Photo
Light and bright. Interesting the upper cabinets are minimal again. Not keen on the brass integrated door pulls
Q
Photo
Ok so here is an example of a new kitchen using wood (walnut) with a contrasting island. I think it is all hideous. Way too dark, way too much wood, very dated design, finishes don't match, nothing ties the floor, cabinetry, backsplash and island together (in my opinion)
Q
Photo
I actually like this cabinetry and the look with no upper cabinets here; it doesn't look empty just clean
Q

Drawer within a drawer to keep the lines clean
Q
Photo
I like the pantry looks like double door from the outside to mimic the fridge on the other side of the stoves, but in fact is one big door - and all the pull out shelves
Q
Photo
Like the cabinetry - lines look like they are not too busy
Q

smart
Q

This is a look I am concerned will quickly date?

Example of light wood and light floors

While I don't like the cabinets - way too much going on in them - I do find this overall look warmer than some other combos. Don't like the backsplash; too busy
Q
Photo
I like this combo seems warmer, but maybe it is just the lighting. When it is dark cabinets with light counters it can look too stark, especially as we'll have a good deal of cabinetry. Cute light style over the island.
Q

very light and bright. Again, few upper cabinets. Not sure I want that few, but I do like how it lightens things up
Q

interesting alternative idea. I think I'd like to visit this not live it

Coffee/tea station with drawer underneath for mugs etc
Q

i like there isn't too much grain in the cabinets, it light counters and darker floors.
Q

color combo - floor, wood cabinets, counter

Cabinetry, general color scheme (bit too white on the counters), wood floors. This is one of Brad's houses
