I wonder if we should build a bump out for the nonexistent flue that tapers to the ceiling?

A lot going on but I like it

I think what I want is the fireplaces not be the main focus but also not like this.
Q

This is the kind of fireplace that does not seem honest. I looked at it wondered what it was and wondered what all is going on and why.
Q

This is clearly not our style but it is honest, it is clearly a fireplace; it is completely integrated into the room; and it fits in its surroundings without overwhelming them... maybe because everything is so overwhelming? We like 90% the opposite, everything underwhelming with a 10% punch.

We prefer a mantle to be integrated into the surround, not “stuck on” like this one
Q

Like the simplicity only
Q

Way too busy
Q

We do not like tile with too much differentiation.
Q

This would do me in completely ☺️
Q

Vic does not want stone, Shannon would have basalt on all of them.
Q

I love small tiles but not the rest
Q

I like this fireplace and 95% of the house
Q

This just does not look right
Q

This is trying too hard
Q

Simple yet too busy, do not like hearth color.
Q

Both like the size and color variation of the horizontal wood but this overall look is a bit cold looking. We’d like something more cozy.
Q

We both love this black and wood combo. All our fireplaces are black.
Q

Simple, light color, dated?
Q

Vic likes the color, reflective polish of the surround
Q

Both like simple lines but it’s too dark and maybe too busy with the horizontal and vertical
No
