Task - Task lighting is meant to serve a particular task. This most commonly refers to lamps or small lights that do not cover a large area. For example, in the image above is a bedside lamp, mostly used as a reading lamp.

Natural lighting - Utilizes natural sunlight and open windows and/or doors. With natural lighting comes a lack of control over colors and/or brightness. For example, the lighting will be different in the summer season compared to the winter.
