Natural and Artificial Lighting- Natural light is light that is generated naturally, the common source of which is the Sun, moon, Stars or fire. Where in Artificial light we may control the lighting effects using artificial sources of light by using electric bulbs, or torchlight.

Natural Lighting-Natural lighting, brings natural Sun or moon light into your home by using exterior glazing windows and or skylights, etc., Reducing artificial lighting requirements and saving energy.

Task lighting- Task lighting provides increased light for specific tasks in a room that may already have some ambient light. Task lighting is especially useful for seeing small objects or objects of low contrast. Example of task lighting include desk lamps, mounted reading lamps, under cabinet lighting, table lamps, etc.

Accent Lighting-Accent lighting focuses light on a particular area or object. It is often used to highlight art, books or other artifacts. Common types of accent lights include wall sconces, floodlights, recessed lights, or track lighting.

Ambient Lighting-Ambient, or general lighting, dominates the lighting landscape of each room. The key lights you use to light up the room can usually be included within this lighting category. Ambient light also sets the tone for the room. The level of ambient lighting will dictate whether a room is bright, homey, darker or more relaxed.

Grazing lighting-Wall Grazing lighting technique is where lights are positioned very closely to a wall, either from the floor or ceiling, to force the beam of light to hit the wall at a narrow angle. The intention is to draw the eye to the texture of the wall by creating shadows.

Perimeter lighting refers to a lighting design technique that focuses on illuminating the outer edges of a space. It involves placing light fixtures along the walls or perimeter of a room, creating an indirect lighting effect.

Up lighting-Up lighting is the placement of lighting fixtures on the floor pointing the light up. It details points of interest, typically around the perimeter of a space, to draw attention to those details. Up lighting is an effective way to dramatically improve ambience in a space.

Cove Lighting- Cove lighting is a form of indirect lighting built into ledges in a ceiling or high on the walls of a room. It directs light up towards the ceiling and down adjacent walls. It may be used as primary lighting, or for aesthetic accent, especially to highlight decorative ceilings

Recessed Lighting- Recessed lights have a simple and clean look because they sit above the ceiling and don’t hang or mount. Recessed lighting may make your rooms look bigger. Recessed lights give off a lot of light in a small area. Recessed lights are perfect for putting light in key places.

Drop Lighting-is a light fixture that drops down from the ceiling into a space. (Fixture is suspended via a cable.)

Wall Washing- Wall washing is a lighting technique in which vertical, indirect lighting is placed in the ceiling or floor at a wider distance from the wall. using this technique allows the light to fall down on the wall in an equal, uniform way.

Sconce-A sconce is a decorative light fixture that is mounted to a wall.

2 x 4 fixture- LED panels are more energy efficient compared to traditional lighting. For minimal power, LED panels can produce a significant amount of brightness that no traditional lighting can replicate.

Incandescent Bulb- is an electric light with a wire filament that is heated until it glows. It is not high efficient, however it creates a warm industrial feeling.
