nother blue/browns and neutrals combo. Success is in the details and look at all of them here. Eclectic style ISN'T just a bunch of odds and end thrown together. When done correctly, it's a wonderful look. The items, colors, patterns, accessories ... EVERYTHING in this room is a deliberate part of it's design. DETAILS: did you pick up on the red/orange bits throughout: the books, baskets, toss pillows ... even in the drinks on the coffee table? Have you noticed how the caramel of the leather chair is in several of the patterns throughout the room? The blue works in there as well, and also in the table lamp, little decor box, in the area rug and the tile. The geometrics of the tile coincide with those of the rug patterns. I could continue further but I think you get my meaning Just two more comments and I promise I'll stop. While noting the dark curtain rod, don't miss the darker trim on the top and edges of the drapes; not bold, not very big BUT ... this subtle detail is like frosting on the cake top. And see how the rod is hung at the same height as the top level of the shelves. Did I say "I like this room VERY much, and think it is beautifully designed.
