These center dormers have a roof pitch very close to the main roof. I kind of like how they have an overhang effect. This may only be possible because the whole wall comes halfway up the window rather than having the dormer intersect the main roof.

This dormer ceiling keeps an upward pitch. Not as steep as the rest of the ceiling, but approaching it.

Cute small interior ceiling dormer pitch. Lots of drama for a small space

perfect example of using the dormer to break up an otherwise long section of plain roof

dormer has shake siding even though the gables have horizontal boards, presumably because the space is so limited

Interesting the super long, high pitch of the dormer roof

That's an attractive rounded dormer

Continue interior ceiling pitch?

This caries the raised pitch to match the rest of the ceilings rather than flat

What a flat ceiling for the dormer on the inside looks like

when does the rounded dormer require a different roofing material?

interesting use of the rounded window inside between rooms

siding on dormer same as house

This dormer lights the upstairs hallway or bedroom, not the foyer below. So, it's really more of a window seat dormer. But, I like how the size lines up with the front door framing below.

This is an example of a smaller window with blank space on the sides
Seems like laminated beams are common place, then I wonder why it was so difficult for them to specify and price them from the moment that K&K got the plan.
