Thank you! The ceiling is a T G "clear heart" stain grade cedar stained medium brown as you see in the photo. The planks are 4" wide, the "groove" is a square profile 1/4" x 1/4". When the ceiling meets the irregular stone face we've captured it in a clear anodized aluminum "J" metal channel. The stone extends above the line of the wood ceiling giving the impression that the stone wall was there first and everything else added to and around it. Much like an old traditional stone fireplace home is built. This type of detailing seemed more "honest" we thought by recognizing the proper construction sequencing. If this were a tract house, we suspect the wood would be scribed to the irregular stone face, or a wood trim piece installed to cover the intersection of the two material
