i like all the various greens (though they are more gradually different unlike the one above. i seem inconsistent but happy to discuss :) ). more color is good, but i'd like some sort of color from spring until fall if possible....?

for the flower beds on either side of the path (this is much bigger of course), keeps off of the path, but don't see much mulch, and lots of colors!

Not sure about the actual flowers, but i like this layout. around the path. (we need to really walk on the path...no protruding lavander).

probably closer to "just right". i'm fine with almost all the ground covered, just maybe more flow with the plants than my "busy" pic?

way too little going on here (versus open space)

i'm not into this one as much, as i don't like the jump in heights and green color all around.

Not loving it, but like the variety of colors. And natural-looking.

this coloring / stone is really nice

i like how it's not rounded -- it's less cutesy and may tie in with the pergola?

i LOVE all the colors. smell is also important to me. also rather natural looking (not in rows). front of our house is more traditional (which i wanted) but I want more free form for the back, like this.

I do not like for us. (TOO natural-looking with the plants). Got our path, though!
