FLOOR 2: HERE IS HERRINGBONE IN 4 X 16 WHICH SUITS THIS ROOM SIZE AND YOURS. THE PROPORTION IS THE SAME AS 6 X24 BUT I'M GOING TO TRY 4 X 24 WITH THE OCEAN BLACK SLATE JUST TO SEE THE EFFECT. THERE WILL BE A SLIGHTLY SLOPED DIVIDE AT THE SHOWER ENTRY to break the floor between level room and sloped shower. WALLS 2; LIGHTER THAN CHOSEN AND THE MODEL.
BENCH 2 HOW A BOX OR CANTILEVER BENCH WOULD WORK: Extend the linen closet wall into the shower area 14" to capture a 14" wide 17" high wall to wall shower bench. Benefits: *The open bathroom door would not overlap the showerglass but open against and be framed by the painted wall AS VIEWED IN THE MIRROR. *The longer wall would be 34" making space for a 24" HAND towel bar.
HERE IS THE MODEL: FLOOR 1: I TESTED THE CUTTING /HONING AND EDGE POLISHING OF THE OCEAN BLACK SLATE AND IT WAS FAST AND EASY. WALLS 1: I'M THINKING THAT THE SHOWER TILE THAT WE HAVE CHOSEN MAY BE TOO DARK SANDSTONE-LIKE VERSUS THIS SHOWER THAT YOU LIKED. A LIGHTER UNIQUE SIZED TILE MAY BE BETTER. ORIGINAL COMMENT: A Larger room, yes but you could do this colour pallet with a white veined granite and a 6x12 Herringbone floor; sourced or cut from 12x12 slate.)
