maybe tie pop color from kitchen into mudroom by painting interior side of door that color.

The more pictures I look at for mudrooms, the more I realize I really do not want cubbies / baskets, but want cabinets that close and hide the clutter. Maybe have barndoor to separate mudroom from kitchen, rather than part of kitchen

This is a nice way to have a small seating area without an actual bench. Like the cabinets/lockers -- would need to be wider -- with pull out drawers underneath.

I like the mudroom lockers but would want cabinet doors or drawers at the bottom rather than open cubbies. Also not sure that I like the bottom part being deeper than the cabinets). I like the window seats with drawers below, if we had window seat (not critical)

Not sure I love it, but interesting idea to have a small square of countertop that ties in kitchen and mudroom -- but would it just become the place where we drop all our crap?

We need utility sink somewhere in house -- maybe not mudroom (but maybe we design bathroom, space allowing, to have huge sink that could double as utility sink?). If not, the add to basement somehow.

I like the antique star things as decoration.

tile (mudroom) to wood flooring (kitchen). I like our current slate.

If we had bench (not sure we should), drawers much better idea than what we have now (bench opens up, which means never opens). Could use drawers for hats / gloves / etc

Love this idea, but they're probably nowhere near big enough for our crap.

Don't love these colors, but like idea of mudroom cabinetry being similar / complementary but different than kitchen cabinetry.

love the floor to ceiling cabinets / lockers to hide everything. Don't know if we need the bench -- our current one just becomes a place to throw bags
