i like the use of the 'empty space' above the stove as a small pot rack / utensil rack, would be interested to see if something like that works for our kitchen. i like the idea of a potrack but most that i've seen are too large/prominent. another minor detail i like here is the small open bookshelf above the cabinets

the cabinet hinges / pulls on the island are interesting - i wonder if something like this could be an interesting touch on some of our panel-fronted cabinets such as the fridge, or maybe just the beverage bar fridges / ice maker, leaving them hidden but with a hint that they are not normal cabinets.

the cabinet door hardware here - the little locks with twist handles - match what we have in a few places in our house like the old laundry chute and built in linen closet. would love to do something like that matches or goes well with existing hardware elsewhere in the house like that (although the existing ones are brass and I don't think we want gold hardware in the kitchen)

Our current corner cabinets feel like a huge waste of space - would love an innovate storage solution like this. We also had a rotating 3/4 round shelving unit in a corner cabinet in a previous house we lived in which worked well.
