This pool is in the ground, but with the falling grades, part of the shell is exposed out of grade (which provides a seat wall on one end). We veneered the exposed shell/bond beam with natural stone (on the outside, top/coping and inside the pool wall, just below the water level). like a stone foundation, love how it turned out!!
