Living Room/Dining Room
So far i like the colour scheme of blush and nudes with some cooler toned beige's to create depth but i would also want to throw in some metal accents in either distressed silver or copper. The tall ceilings and exposed timber framing look nice when coupled with modern furniture because of the visually appealing juxtaposition created. I think i want the dining room to open on to the living room but be broken up by a half wall featuring a fire place and I want the living room to the accessed through the hallway by a sliding door. I think it is a smart idea to put the entertainment system in an alcove that can be covered by sliding wood paneling because it can be seen as an eye sore in some designs.I think that the dining room should blend into the kitchen at the back of the house so it can feature lots of well lit windows
multi level lights creates some depth to the room making it more dimensional
natural wood chandelier is an interest piece in this modern looking dining room
Pendent light is a unique fixture in a dining room
The distressed wood compliments the chic look of the modern furniture
Love the warm wood against the cool tone of the walls
tall ceiling with multilevel chandelier fills taller spaces
