Thanks for your article and useful information. I would agree that this all helps with marketing your business and have previously used idea books with clients. Working remotely is especially useful at the moment and agree that an initial design stage can be carried out via idea books, sketches by email, leading to design drawings and estimates for the planned work. However, at some stage if the work is agreed and needs to be fitted as opposed to freestanding then a site visit will be necessary to check dimensions and maybe fine tune the design. Needless to say due to the Coronavirus this stage may not be possible. In our case we have projects ready to be installed into homes but can't install them. Working remotely is a great and effective way for the early stages of a project and is a good option at the moment.
