ASID 2011 Gold Specialty Award

Part of a whole house redesign in Los Altos Hills. This unique shower is created as a landscape element which blends seamlessly into the design of the pool patio area--yet standing out as a garden sculpture and water feature. Each of the 3 columns is a water wall built by JML Studio. Water flows up the inside of the column and gently spills out over the patinaed, linen-imprinted surface into its own recirculating system. The floor of the shower is composed of blue/aqua pebble tile. Surrounding the floor is a flowerbed of similar landscape pebbles. Photo by Mike Seidl
