This modern primary bathroom in black and white is a materiality wonderland. Three different tiles were used in the space. White and gray marble flooring, black and white marble wall tiles and a small picket black porcelain tile for the curved wall. All the above is accented with black and white everywhere you look. The key to this bathroom is the use of tile to delineate space. The curved wall around the tub required something that could be installed along the shape of the wall. As an accent, the same tile was used to enhance both the toilet and the two vanity areas. Materials of walnut and high gloss blacks interchange as they bring in vibes from the entire home surrounding this one space. A design and renovation that truly changed the feel, usage and quality of this primary bathroom.

This luxurious spa-like bathroom was remodeled from a dated 90's bathroom. The entire space was demolished and reconfigured to be more functional. Walnut Italian custom floating vanities, large format 24"x48" porcelain tile that ran on the floor and up the wall, marble countertops and shower floor, brass details, layered mirrors, and a gorgeous white oak clad slat walled water closet. This space just shines!

Notably centered to capture all reflections, this intentionally-crafted knotty pine vanity and linen closet illuminates the space with intricate millwork and finishes. A perfect mix of metals and tiles with keen details to bring this vision to life! Custom black grid shower glass anchors the depth of the room with calacatta and arabascato marble accents. Chrome fixtures and accessories with pops of champagne bronze. Shaker-style board and batten trim wraps the walls and vanity mirror to bring warm and dimension.

In this master bath, the wood built-in vanity area offers a large place to dry yourself from the open shower and tub. With its wide countertop, this can be a powder room in an open bath, having pendant lights at the top of the mirror that adds vibrancy and brightness to the open space. APD was hired to update the kitchen, living room, primary bathroom and bedroom, and laundry room in this suburban townhome. The design brought an aesthetic that incorporated a fresh updated and current take on traditional while remaining timeless and classic. The kitchen layout moved cooking to the exterior wall providing a beautiful range and hood moment. Removing an existing peninsula and re-orienting the island orientation provided a functional floorplan while adding extra storage in the same square footage. A specific design request from the client was bar cabinetry integrated into the stair railing, and we could not be more thrilled with how it came together! The primary bathroom experienced a major overhaul by relocating both the shower and double vanities and removing an un-used soaker tub. The design added linen storage and seated beauty vanity while expanding the shower to a luxurious size. Dimensional tile at the shower accent wall relates to the dimensional tile at the kitchen backsplash without matching the two spaces to each other while tones of cream, taupe, and warm woods with touches of gray are a cohesive thread throughout.
