Another space in the Dumas property completely transformed by our team. Previously, the master bathroom was a place for dog kennels (now they have their own space in a separate part of the home - see Project Dumas - Kitchen). It was lacking in functional storage, the shower was awkward with three benches and a faux arch and a bulky corner drop in tub was difficult to use and made the space feel small. Now it is fresh, light, beautiful and super functional! No more beauty products and tools all over the countertop!

In the ensuite bathroom, a pair of frameless mirrors hang above a handsome double vanity, a lavish hinged glass enclosure with convenient built in bench, and freestanding tub prove that this bright and glamorous master bath was designed to pamper. The real showstopper is the dramatic mosaic backsplash, intricate and stunning, full of texture and screaming sophistication. Creamy neutral toned floor tile, laid in a herringbone pattern, classic subway shower wall tile, crisp quartz countertop and posh hardware create the ultimate retreat. The owners of this property wanted the doors to have an etched pattern that matched the mosaic tile design. We etched a ribbon of pattern around the glass shower door and walls. This allows for a level of privacy screening and a unique design that you will not find in another home.

Master (Primary) bathroom renovation transformation! One of many transformation projects we have designed and executed for this lovely empty nesting couple. For this space, we took a heavy, dated and uninspiring bathroom and turned it into one that is inspiring, soothing and highly functional. The general footprint of the bathroom did not change allowing the budget to stay contained and under control. The client is over the moon happy with their new bathroom.

This lovely little modern farmhouse is located at the base of the foothills in one of Boulder’s most prized neighborhoods. Tucked onto a challenging narrow lot, this inviting and sustainably designed 2400 sf., 4 bedroom home lives much larger than its compact form. The open floor plan and vaulted ceilings of the Great room, kitchen and dining room lead to a beautiful covered back patio and lush, private back yard. These rooms are flooded with natural light and blend a warm Colorado material palette and heavy timber accents with a modern sensibility. A lyrical open-riser steel and wood stair floats above the baby grand in the center of the home and takes you to three bedrooms on the second floor. The Master has a covered balcony with exposed beamwork & warm Beetle-kill pine soffits, framing their million-dollar view of the Flatirons. Its simple and familiar style is a modern twist on a classic farmhouse vernacular. The stone, Hardie board siding and standing seam metal roofing create a resilient and low-maintenance shell. The alley-loaded home has a solar-panel covered garage that was custom designed for the family’s active & athletic lifestyle (aka “lots of toys”). The front yard is a local food & water-wise Master-class, with beautiful rain-chains delivering roof run-off straight to the family garden.

Hockessin Delaware Bathroom remodel. The clients original Master bathroom was outdated in style and function. We started by removing a soaking tub sunken into the floor; that was the first thing to go. With the tub gone and relocating the toilet; we redesigned the bath with a larger shower and double vanity. The toilet is now hidden by a half wall with shelving storage on the toilet side, capped with granite and a sleek piece of textured glass. The new 6’ long x 4’ wide shower was tiled cleanly with a mosaic look on the shower head wall, built in niche, bench and grab bar. The new vanity designed in Fabuwood cabinetry in the Galaxy Horizon finish added great storage and plenty of countertop space. Now this bathroom fits the client’s needs and matches there style.

This ranch went from outdated and non functional to bright, airy, and modern. Every surface was updated from the kitchen and bathrooms to the exterior of the home. Classic details keep the style timeless while subtle pops of color add life and personality.
