A crystal chandelier hangs elegantly above the large soaking tub, which is the centerpiece of this sophisticated master bath. Bathed in Diana Royale marble, it’s the perfect spa-like retreat. Tub, sinks and plaster walls, all in biscuit, add to the bright, ethereal glow. The traditional cabinetry painted ivory has been distressed and glazed to evoke Old World charm. Adding a touch of opulence is the countertop, which is adorned with a doubly thick ogee edge. Contrasting the warm neutral tones is polished nickel, which is the metal of choice for sconces, plumbing and hardware. Traditional paintings of birds flank the window behind the tub and a built-in bench is topped with an overstuffed matelassé seat cushion, creating the perfect nook to take in the mid-afternoon sun.

This bathroom was designed as a place of refuge. The open glass barrier encourages light circulation. The soap / shampoo storage is built into the wall. There are two robe / towel hooks that flank the entry door. There are two types of tile used to add visual interest to the space. The shower glass creates a tranquil division from the outside. The door has frosted horizontal panels to allow light to pass through. The cabinets and door are comprised of grey wood. Pierreji.com

Carlsbad Home The designer put together a retreat for the whole family. The master bath was completed gutted and reconfigured maximizing the space to be a more functional room. Details added throughout with shiplap, beams and sophistication tile. The kids baths are full of fun details and personality. We also updated the main staircase to give it a fresh new look.

This classic vintage bathroom has it all. Claw-foot tub, mosaic black and white hexagon marble tile, glass shower and custom vanity.

Following the launch of our True Ofuro bathtub, many of our customers kept requested an even smaller version of Japanese tub that would be practical and useful in applications where no other bathtub would fit. This, in a nutshell, is how this small and tall version of ‘sit and soak’, solid surface Japanese bathtub was conceived. Designed in Italy, this immaculately sculpted model is also available with an optional inline water heater and digital control panel which includes a temperature display. Aquatica’s international industrial design team, used advanced CAD tools, modeling and repeated testing with real size prototype units so that we could reach the optimal balance between ergonomic comfort and visual appeal.
