Beneath Starry Skies

This is one of my favorite spaces. You don't know if you're in Italy or Spain. Dining alfresco never felt so intimate despite the large patio. We carefully divided the patio into spaces that all flow together yet each space feels intimate. The outdoor lighting, including the market lights strung from the house to the tree create a warm and romantic atmosphere. What this picture doesn't tell you is there are speakers softly filling the air with music. It's easy to image a dinner with close friends, laughter, toasts to long life and a general feeling of joy...all under starry skies. Photo Credit: Mark Pinkerton, vi360
