In this master room, a serene sanctuary was created by painting the walls a comforting blue and accenting with a cream headboard. Metallic gold accessories accent the space.

This property was completely gutted and redesigned into a single family townhouse. After completing the construction of the house I staged the furniture, lighting and decor. Staging is a new service that my design studio is now offering.

We were hired for this project to renovate a master bedroom and bathroom in an adorable colonial in the suburbs of New York. The bathroom had floor to ceiling mirrors and brown marble with dated gold fixtures and was in need of a serious upgrade. After gutting the space, we put in a beautiful neutral color palette with a charcoal vanity and big freestanding soaking tub. In the bedroom, we needed to change all of the furniture, window treatments, choose new paint colors, light fixtures and accessories. The homeowner loves blue and yellow, so we made those the accent colors and molded the rest of the room around it. Interior Design by Rachael Liberman and Photos by Arclight Images

Guest bedroom with an ethnic, midcentury vibe. The client wanted an eclectic feel for the guest room but also one that would enliven the senses. This wallpaper from Graham and Brown gives it just that. We added a sputnik light from Restoration Hardware to give it a modern touch.

Breathe Design Studio

Completed in 2017, this project features midcentury modern interiors with copper, geometric, and moody accents. The design was driven by the client's attraction to a grey, copper, brass, and navy palette, which is featured in three different wallpapers throughout the home. As such, the townhouse incorporates the homeowner's love of angular lines, copper, and marble finishes. The builder-specified kitchen underwent a makeover to incorporate copper lighting fixtures, reclaimed wood island, and modern hardware. In the master bedroom, the wallpaper behind the bed achieves a moody and masculine atmosphere in this elegant "boutique-hotel-like" room. The children's room is a combination of midcentury modern furniture with repetitive robot motifs that the entire family loves. Like in children's space, our goal was to make the home both fun, modern, and timeless for the family to grow into. Dans cette suite parentale, le placard en dur a été déposé. Une tête de lit sur-mesure a été réalisé grâce à des tasseaux de MDF. Posés sur murs et plafond, ils donnent à la pièce une toute autre perspective. Pour garder ce charme du provençale, une tringle avec coussins suspendus a été placé sur les tasseaux, apportant un peu de douceur à l'ensemble. Un mélange parfait entre charme de l'ancien et modernité.
