Cabinet Refacing done in Alder

The client wanted to update their tired and outdated kitchen as the existing cabinets were worn and faded. The refacing was in Alder plywood veneer in a Medford stain. They chose a raised panel door style with solid wood drawer fronts, using solid Alder in the Medford stain to match. All existing drawer boxes were replaced with new solid maple dovetailed drawer interiors using Blum drawer slides and New Blum hinges were installed on the doors. New Amerock handles in a brushed nickel were installed on the new doors and drawer fronts. Countertops were replaced prior to the refacing using a WilsonArt granite looking product. The kitchen facelift now looks outstanding and the client is extremely pleased with the result – and at a 50% saving over replacing their existing cabinets.
