Chicago Illinois Pastel Formal Living Room

This was the first time that my clients had upgraded their formal living room in 20 years. We started from scratch and came up with an updated and serene color scheme, a new furniture layout, well, new EVERYTHING really! The only thing we kept was an upright piano, and a grandfather clock! We took extra time to reface the fireplace, and sanded and painted all walls and trim to look pristine and fresh. Custom upholstery, accent tables, lighting and a soft new area rug added just a hint of color.
