City High Rise

This contemporary dining space has an oval chandelier that echoes the shape of the oval table. A lighted ceiling detail adds interest and was created to move the electrical box on the concrete ceiling to a spot that allowed sufficient clearance between the counter seating and table area. Adding a contrasting fabric too the back of chairs is a great way to add an interesting pattern while the inside of the chair has a durable covering. The custom area rug has a traditional damask pattern with a border. A silvered chest adds storage and serves as an interesting accent. Photo by Herb Shenkin
