Material finishes include 2x4 splitface travertine in light, 3cm bull nosed travertine coping in light walnut, 1x1 Mosaic marble waterline tiles in Crema Marfil, Wet Edge Primera Stone polished pebble interior in Blue Pacific Coast, Travertine Pavers in Versailles Pattern and color Aske Kale.

This large Tudor home and guest house was experiencing terrible flooding during heavy rains. We created an elaborate drainage system connecting downspouts to underground pipes. In addition, berms were designed and planted with low water use plants to create a more level front yard and a safe percolation area for water to drain. We created more usable space in the front yard, and reduced the water consumption by 50%. The backyard was completely redesigned to include a pool, fireplace, outdoor cooking area, new retainer walls and plants for both privacy and beauty.

The landscape lighting highlights feature plants throughout the property to provide a sense of space and depth in the evening hours.

Contemporary pool and spa with tanning ledge tucked into compact space. To make the best use of space, we added a pergola to provide shade for an outdoor table and finished the project with lush landscaping.

This compact swimming pool measures 12'0'" x 26'6" and is 4'0" deep. The full shallow end steps and sunshelf provide an ample resting area. The stone decking and stone steppers highlight the modern house, as well as the glass enclosed fire table. Photography by Larry Huene
