Coreopsis and Centaurea

Coreopsis lanceolata (Lance Leaf Coreopsis) is deer resistant, tolerates partial shade and a popular addition to wildflower meadows. Its yellow bloom is striking when paired with the blue flower of Centaurea cyanus (Cornflower).
