Elwood Residence

Equal parts functional family home and parent’s haven, the Elwood Residence captures the duality of modern life. From the master bed, nursery and toddler’s room to the living/dining spaces and outdoor pool area, a feeling of ease flows. As with all our interior decoration projects, great respect was paid to the colour palette. Channelling the depth of the existing kitchen joinery and shades from the living room rug, shades of green were layered amongst the space alongside greys, muted blues and accents of rust and mustard. Playing on the palette further are two of the home’s standout pieces; a custom pair of Patagonian marble coffee tables and a painting by Black Rock-based artist Hannah Nolan. With an emphasis on art and creative expression, thoughtful pieces underscore every room, telling the story of a life well lived along the way.
