The new roof cantilevers beyond the extension walls creating emphasis and direction towards the natural views.

Je mets toujours un point d’honneur à m’inscrire dans l’histoire du lieu en travaillant avec des matériaux authentiques, quelles que soient la nature et la taille du projet. » Aujourd’hui, l’ancien petit salon et sa cuisine attenante ont été réunis en une seule pièce, privilégiant ainsi la convivialité et l’esthétisme. Florence a conceptualisé la cuisine avec deux plans de travail dont un îlot XXL qui dissimule de grands tiroirs de rangement, ainsi qu’une table de cuisson. Attenant à la cuisine, un escalier..Voici une pièce à vivre en deux parties. La cuisine (Record è Cucine), réalisée en Fenix (panneau en stratifié) et bois brut, se distingue de la salle à manger par un jeu de couleurs en clair-obscur, inspiré par la végétation environnante. La décoration éclectique associe d’anciennes lampes à pétrole provenant d’un paquebot indien à des créations actuelles. Plan de travail en granit du Zimbabwe et en acier brossé sur l’îlot central. Peinture « Inchyra Blue » (vert foncé) et « Cinder Rose » (rose clair), Farrow & Ball. Robinetterie, Hansgrohe. Le projet Redonner du lustre et du style à un appartement ancien ayant perdu de son cachet au cours des dernières décennies. Notre solution Ouvrir les espaces et repenser la circulation des pièces. Le séjour communique directement avec une chambre dissimulée derrière une porte camouflée par un grand papier peint panoramique en noir et blanc. Les anciens plafonds avec moulures ont été découverts lors des travaux et restaurés dans l’entrée et la chambre. Une véritable suite parentale inspirée de l’hôtellerie de luxe est créée avec une salle de douche ouverte sur la chambre. De nombreux rangements sur mesure sont créés : bibliothèque, placards, dressings… Le style Mariage réussi du classique et du contemporain. Un parquet clair à chevrons remplace les anciens revêtements. Des caches-radiateurs menuisés longent toute la pièce à vivre jusque dans la chambre d’amis. L’entrée est peinte dans un bleu profond y compris sur le plafond, tout comme la bibliothèque et les fenêtres. Dans la chambre, rideaux et tête de lit en velours sont dans la même teinte. La salle de douche ouverte joue avec les marbres avec un meuble vasque sur fond de marbre gris au sol et aux murs. Un grand dressing avec plaquage matiéré finalise cet espace parentale haute couture. Des luminaires design ponctuent les différents espaces tout comme des interrupteurs et prises design en acier brossé présents jusque dans le parquet.

This 6,000sf luxurious custom new construction 5-bedroom, 4-bath home combines elements of open-concept design with traditional, formal spaces, as well. Tall windows, large openings to the back yard, and clear views from room to room are abundant throughout. The 2-story entry boasts a gently curving stair, and a full view through openings to the glass-clad family room. The back stair is continuous from the basement to the finished 3rd floor / attic recreation room. The interior is finished with the finest materials and detailing, with crown molding, coffered, tray and barrel vault ceilings, chair rail, arched openings, rounded corners, built-in niches and coves, wide halls, and 12' first floor ceilings with 10' second floor ceilings. It sits at the end of a cul-de-sac in a wooded neighborhood, surrounded by old growth trees. The homeowners, who hail from Texas, believe that bigger is better, and this house was built to match their dreams. The brick - with stone and cast concrete accent elements - runs the full 3-stories of the home, on all sides. A paver driveway and covered patio are included, along with paver retaining wall carved into the hill, creating a secluded back yard play space for their young children. When Portland-based writer Donald Miller was looking to make improvements to his Sellwood loft, he asked a friend for a referral. He and Angela were like old buddies almost immediately. “Don naturally has good design taste and knows what he likes when he sees it. He is true to an earthy color palette; he likes Craftsman lines, cozy spaces, and gravitates to things that give him inspiration, memories and nostalgia. We made key changes that personalized his loft and surrounded him in pieces that told the story of his life, travels and aspirations,” Angela recalled. Like all writers, Don is an avid book reader, and we helped him display his books in a way that they were accessible and meaningful – building a custom bookshelf in the living room. Don is also a world traveler, and had many mementos from journeys. Although, it was necessary to add accessory pieces to his home, we were very careful in our selection process. We wanted items that carried a story, and didn’t appear that they were mass produced in the home décor market. For example, we found a 1930’s typewriter in Portland’s Alameda District to serve as a focal point for Don’s coffee table – a piece that will no doubt launch many interesting conversations. Projet CASTEL - Rénovation complète et extension d'une maison familiale

Les propriétaires ont hérité de cette maison de campagne datant de l'époque de leurs grands parents et inhabitée depuis de nombreuses années. Outre la dimension affective du lieu, il était difficile pour eux de se projeter à y vivre puisqu'ils n'avaient aucune idée des modifications à réaliser pour améliorer les espaces et s'approprier cette maison. La conception s'est faite en douceur et à été très progressive sur de longs mois afin que chacun se projette dans son nouveau chez soi. Je me suis sentie très investie dans cette mission et j'ai beaucoup aimé réfléchir à l'harmonie globale entre les différentes pièces et fonctions puisqu'ils avaient à coeur que leur maison soit aussi idéale pour leurs deux enfants. Caractéristiques de la décoration : inspirations slow life dans le salon et la salle de bain. Décor végétal et fresques personnalisées à l'aide de papier peint panoramiques les dominotiers et photowall. Tapisseries illustrées uniques. A partir de matériaux sobres au sol (carrelage gris clair effet béton ciré et parquet massif en bois doré) l'enjeu à été d'apporter un univers à chaque pièce à l'aide de couleurs ou de revêtement muraux plus marqués : Vert / Verte / Tons pierre / Parement / Bois / Jaune / Terracotta / Bleu / Turquoise / Gris / Noir ... Il y a en a pour tout les gouts dans cette maison !
