Fresh Twist on a Traditional Living Room

Warm, vivid colors enliven the art and artiques in this traditional living room. The electric fireplace was added to create an architectural focal point, and the dated camelback sofa got a transformation with painter's dropcloth as upholstery. The art groupings were created from the homeowner's collection. The entry was papered in a trellis grasscloth.
