Historical Kitchen Remodel

For this kitchen remodel, the original opening to the kitchen was framed in. You now enter the kitchen from this adjoining sitting room. A new opening to the sitting room was created and custom columns to match the existing columns we installed. We created a custom fireplace surround. The tiles are handmade to order from Seattle. The homeowner kept with the period of the home in her lighting choices and the heat registers. The original hardwood floors were refinished. New hardwood was woven in at the new opening to the room.
