Living and a stair

This project for a new six bedroom house in Kew sits on a sloping site. The project explores the relationship of a suburban villa type and the street. The long elevations, only glimpsed obliquely from the street, are animated by a linear cladding pattern. This wrapping skin is further exaggerated by the peeling and folding to reveal different volumes within and contort the building to planning setbacks. The building mass is articulated by the interplay of a wrapping skin and voids cuts from the volume it contains.
