Long Residence

A skylight was introduced over the stairwell of this 3 story terrace house to bring daylight into the interior. White cabinetry extending from the living area to the dining and kitchen area was added to connect the three spaces without intruding upon the spaciousness of the first floor. Intimate spaces such as the loft and mid-landing niche were also carved out to provide areas for display and rest in an otherwise open floor plan. In keeping with the overall palette of the interior, the existing flooring and staircase handrail were sanded and refinished to achieve a matte finish.
