Los Altos Hills Home Rebuilt

A few 5' bump-outs were added for some of the rooms. Here you see the 625 square foot addition of 2 bedrooms each with a full bath. The large windows are for the bathrooms. Being built on the hillside, concrete piers support the floor. Great care was also taken during the excavation and building process to maintain stability of the hillside during weather events. A small balcony wends its way from front to back to avoid the steps down and then the steps up. It is made from Ipe wood. Here Feeney railing with LED lighting is also used. The exterior is cedar siding stained a warm grey. For a more finished look, the siding is continued along the walls under the decks.
