Meadow Buffer

Recipient of the 2015 Perennial Plant Association Landscape Design Award. This mixed planting of perennials and trees acts to screen our clients home from a busy road - without creating a wall. The plantings undulate from side to side in contrast to the straight path of the roadway (which is off camera). Ornamented with rafts of low maintenance, flowering perennials within a grove of newly planted River Birch (Betula nigra 'Heritage') the view into the property is mitigated while making the view towards the road a thing of beauty all year round.
