This colorful family lounge adjoins the open kitchen with a breakfast counter and puja room as well. We opted for a green, white and light wood scheme. The wall of the family lounge is painted teal with brass strips inlaid in a pattern. The doors to the Puja Room consist of two panels of gold painted metal jaalis which are adorned with bells. The entry to the kitchen is visible in this photo. We kept the upper cabinets a light shade of pastel green in tune with the green color theme in the family lounge. The kitchen backsplash is a black and white patterned geometric tile. The breakfast counter is covered with a white marble laminate, and has quilted leather bar stools placed in front.
